Hospice Aide

The hospice aides or nursing assistants of One Courageous Hospice & Palliative Care will assist your loved ones with their activities of daily living. They provide direct care under the supervision and guidance of our Registered Nurses.

Hospice aides are not only your source of support at home, they can also be there for emotional encouragement and can serve as suitable companions.

Services may include but are not limited to:

  • Catheter care
  • Bowel program
  • Simple wound care
  • Ambulation
  • Home exercise program
  • Nail care
  • Oral hygiene
  • Skin care
  • Bathing
  • Dedicated attention and general supervision of health
  • Blood pressure and temperature monitoring
  • Mobility assistance
  • Medication management
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
