Become A Volunteer
You Can Make a Difference
Becoming a volunteer is the first step in making a difference in the Hospice community.
Volunteers are a very special part of the hospice team. They provide a variety of supportive services to enhance the quality of life for our patients and their families.
We have both administrative and direct care opportunities for volunteers who are interested in making a difference.
Friendly visits enable families to keep their loved ones at home, around the people they love. Assisting with errands helps a tired family cope with their many challenges and allows them time with their loved one. Simply holding a patients hand can easy their mind and comfort their spirit. It is small deeds of kindness that so profoundly enhance the lives of our patients and those who love them.
Volunteers set their own levels of commitment based on their available time and the needs of our patients.
At One Courageous we want to be sure that our patients and families received the highest quality of care and services, all of our volunteers must submit to a background check. Our volunteers are thoroughly trained in the skills they need for the volunteer role.

No act of Kindness,
no matter how small,
is never wasted.
